Faith in God and the power of prayer are key ingredients to the success of dealing with leukemia or lymphoma. Caregivers and family members recognize the need to communicate to everyone. However, that task can be time consuming and emotionally draining. Everyone wants to help, but they need direction. The Stephanie Robinson Foundation has partnered with the Lotsa Helping Hands organization to provide a solution. In addition to coordinating and communicating daily tasks with loved ones, it is helpful for patients to build an emotional support network. The Cancer Support Community of North Texas is a gathering place for patients, family members and caregivers to share their thoughts and experiences with others.
Lotsa Helping Hands is a simple, immediate way for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors to assist loved ones in need. It's an easy-to-use, private group calendar, specifically designed for organizing helpers, where everyone can pitch in with meal delivery, rides, and other tasks necessary for life to run smoothly during a crisis.
Our Mission: To ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
